Hi, i am impurify. That’s a logotype I made in early 2025, for better things yet undone—yet to come at the dot-com of my name. For I am “The Antidote to Purity Culture™”.

Now, I am better known as dirt under the rug. I shall not use my signature domain nams here—not for this. This is my Internet junk drawer—starting with some dirt Techdirt haphazardly swept out of sight, whence the snazzy new branding. Given that impetus to make this site, I’ll probably stick other odds and ends here; perhaps it may evolve somehow to reconverge with my original plans, which were not this.

What this is, indeed, is a lesson in how “worse is better”—the subject of a half-finished essay I now have a place to post whenever it’s done. Besides—now that an unfortunate impetus has pushed me to make a quick-and-dirty website, I’m bubbling with ideas1 that shouldn’t wait for my longtime “DTRT” plan to write my own vaporware CMS!

Now, since I’m all Web 1.0ish, I get to apologize for the mess without really caring. This site is under construction.
